Parker Van Ostrand began studying piano at the age of four. He performed at Carnegie Hall three times and has performed in numerous recitals throughout the United States, Europe, Singapore, and Japan. He has performed with seven different orchestras. Last February, he received 3rd Prize and the Best Sonata Award in the 10th National Chopin Piano Competition. He was also a 2021 National YoungArts Finalist in Classical Music, 1st Place winner of the 2020 National Steinway Piano Competition, 2nd Place winner of the 2021 Canada International Piano Competition, and recently selected as a 2021 U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts, one of 20 nationwide.

     He currently studies with Garrick Ohlsson and Linda Nakagawa, and will attend the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Stanford University in the fall.
