Competition Eligibility
AIPF offers aspiring pianists the opportunity to share their talents at a prestigious event that fosters a spirit of healthy competition. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2021 competition will be held in digital format, open to pianists from around the world. Judged by internationally acclaimed pianists, the Competition welcomes participant of all levels to compete in six separate categories.
Level A: Up to Age 8
Level B: Ages 9 – 11
Junior: Ages 12 – 14
High School: Ages 15 – 18
Young Artist: Ages 19 – 25
Amateur: Adult, non-professional pianist age 30 and older.
Competition levels are determined by the entrant’s age on September 10, 2021.
